Amie and Todd – Santa Rosa Beach Destination Wedding

Amie and Todd were married at Bentley’s on the Bay in Santa Rosa Beach Florida amongst many family and friends and a gaggle of beautiful children.

Amie chose a beautiful strapless gown with some of the most intricate stitching I’ve seen to date. The dress had beautiful champagne threads in the stitching with beads sewn throughout… exquisite! Celestine’s Special Occasions provided the feminine, Southern styled floral decor which was showcased beautifully in the warm Florida sunshine out on Bentley’s bay front deck. Mr. Al from A Bride’s Ride chauffeured Amie and Todd away at the end of the night in his beautiful white Packard.

Wow. Does it get any better than having amazing photographers for friends and then having the honor of creating images for them? I don’t think so. And, I’ve been lucky enough to be doing that a lot lately.

Mark Eric, his wonderful wife Heather, and their sweet little Merrik (omg how cute!) took a well deserved break on our beaches. Mark and Heather are super talented photographers from my home-state of Louisiana and it was great to spend a little bit of time with them in Watercolor.

Can’t wait to have y’all back in this neck of the woods!

Hassas Family – Capitola Beach California

Next up! Another photographer family I feel so special to have such a great friend trust me with this job. I went out to California a few weeks ago to shoot his beautiful family and two weddings with my friend Sam Hassas. Sam and Monica invited me into their home with their boys and we spent several days shooting weddings and ended the trip with this family shoot in Capitola, California. Thanks for the love and hospitality Monica and Sam!

Oh and as promised, Sam made some of his famous pizza for me… It’s all in the Hass-auce. Delicious!

Amanda and Joel’s October wedding at Anna’s Veranda in Inlet Beach was featured in the latest issue of The Knot – Florida magazine. This issue hits newsstands on June 27th all over the Southeastern US, so be sure you pick up a copy. Congrats to Amanda and Joel on their wedding and the upcoming arrival of their newest family addition which I believe to be a baby GIRL!

A couple weeks ago I had the honor of photographing my dear friend Amanda Suanne‘s family. Amanda is another local wedding and portrait photographer and her husband Josh is a fabulous wedding film-maker as well. Little Chloe is a precious baby girl who will soon be a big sister! Amanda also photographed my family and can’t thank her enough for the treasure that those photos are. Love y’all!

Paige and Todd – Destination Beach Engagement

Paige and Todd made a trip down from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area for a 30A beach vacation. We met up in Seaside for an engagement session and came away with some great shots.

Sara and Kris | Seaside Florida Wedding

Sara and Kris were married at the Seaside Chapel amongst their closest friends and family. Sara’s hair and makeup (which looked stunning!) was done by Jessica of Make Me Blush. With help from Shelby Peaden, Sara planned a beautiful reception at Draper Lake following the ceremony. The amazing floating dock hosted their cocktail hour and the dinner reception was nearby on the butterfly green under a tent filled with beautiful flowers and wonderful food by Celestine’s Special Occasions. Sara and Kris added some cute touches like the personalized t-shirts that they gave each guest with a special Peanuts comic on the back and a midnight snack of donut holes and little milk shooters! The kids table with children’s meals in beach pails and a stockpile of art supplies and bubbles was a huge hit. Everyone had a great time celebrating and I’m honored that they chose me to photograph their wedding. Congrats to you both!

Laura and Josh :: Bentley’s on the Bay :: Santa Rosa Beach Wedding

Laura and Josh were married in a beautiful destination ceremony at the lovely Bentley’s on the Bay. I just loved the soft white and light pink colors along with a touch of feathers that Cari Degregorio put together for Laura’s floral designs. And oh my… those hydrangea bouquets… I’ve never seen anything like them! They were so perfect, full, and white. A Bride’s Ride helped Laura and Josh find the perfect getaway car. This antique Packard has the sweetest owner/driver and he takes great care of his sweet ride. Laura and Josh’s 65 guests dined on yummy food from Sugarcane Catering (everyone loves the tuna by the way )and treated to a wedding cake from Confections on the Coast. For a little fun, the couple provided custom printed sunglasses for the guests to wear during the reception. The entire day was wonderful and I couldn’t ask for a sweeter couple.

Laurie and Julian :: Destin Florida Wedding

Wedding season is officially in full swing!

First up on the blog this year are the lovely Laurie and Julian. This sweet couple was married at Rutherfords 465 in Regatta Bay. Their ceremony took place outside in the lawn area. Laurie’s black, white, and red vision was beautifully executed by Brandi of Your Aisle Awaits and Florals by the Sea. The Cake Destination made the polka dot wedding cake and orchestrated the color coordinated candy bar which was a huge hit with the guests! I had a great time spending the day with Laurie and Julian’s families and capturing beautiful images of their celebration along the way. Congratulations Laurie and Julian!!
