Hi y’all! I hope you’re having a wonderful new year… welcome 2010!

It’s absolutely freezing here in Florida. In fact, as I’m posting this the thermometer reads 20 degrees. Yes, you read that right. And the low for tonight is something like 15. We’re hearing it may SNOW the day after tomorrow. That’s something that hasn’t happened here since 1977. We’ve been let down before though, so I’ll believe it when I see it. And depending on how late at night it is, I may even post pics!

In an effort to think warm thoughts, I decided to post a beach session from last summer. I have a TON of beach sessions to post, but time is fleeting so one will have to do for now.

On a side note, this summer is already booking up quickly. Due to high demand for weddings in June, I will only be taking a very limited number of beach sessions in the month of June. Please contact me asap for available dates if you will be visiting in June and would like info on family portrait sessions. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this little peek into a family beach session!

Um, love this one… one of my all-time favs because it’s just so REAL. This is what kids do and it’s what makes kids special and makes life interesting every day.

I’m so excited about posting these photos for Laura and Josh! The sunset on the day of their engagement session was just amazing. Complete with a full moon… absolutely stunning. We took a quick trip through Eden State Gardens before heading over to the beach.

These two have known each other since they met, while in highschool, working at Abercrombie… fast forward about 6 years and here they are about to get married! Their wedding will be in May, here in Santa Rosa Beach at Bentley’s on the Bay. Laura and Josh… I hope you love these as much as I do!

In case you can’t already tell… I have NO time to blog this summer! Just getting everything out on time takes up about 18 hours of every day right now. Fall is around the corner though, so expect me to start spitting out blogs of all the great sessions and weddings this summer when the air cools off and my crazy schedule cools down with it.

Today I wanted to share some photos from Brittany’s bridal shoot. We went out a few days after the wedding to grab a few more shots of Brittany in her beautiful gown and came out with some beautiful images. Tomorrow I’m going to hopefully find some time to blog the wedding as it’s long over due (along with a ton of others!).

This week was a little crazy because my proofing system really started fouling things up around here, so I have a brand new proofing gallery and cart system and I’m already hearing how wonderful it is from the few clients whose galleries have been posted to it. There are a ton more choices, tools, and options that I know everyone will love!

It’s that time of year again! It’s warm downright hot outside, the water is gorgeous, the Destin traffic is heavy, the grocery stores are packed, and there are a ton of families coming to experience it all! I have a ton of beach sessions to blog, but seeing as how I don’t have a single opening for the next two weeks, it might be a while before I get to posting them.

Which brings me to another thought… if you’re contemplating booking a family or beach photo session for July, hurry!! July is filling up quickly and if it’s anything like June, I would suggest booking asap. August too!

This cute family came and we had some fun down at Grayton Beach State Park in the beautiful evening light. Grandma even got in on the fun! I’m just in love with mom’s gorgeous skin here, such a beautiful lady.

I’m so excited about this session! Sarah went to highschool with my husband and a mutual friend referred her to me for her upcoming wedding. Adam and Sarah totally rocked this session for me. We shot these around noon at Eden State Gardens and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding at Boardwalk Beach Resort next month!

I had a rough time picking just a few to show off, so I loaded the rest up into a slideshow for you to watch. It’s my first blog-slideshow so bear with me while I attempt to get these to the point of perfection as they’re quite flat and fuzzy in this one for some reason.

Oh how I loved these little girls!! Really, they were so cute and sweet. The Johnson family visited the Sandestin Hilton and hopefully caught a few minutes of sunshine and beach time in a really rainy week. It was a beautiful day on the South Walton beaches with a beautiful family and I think the pictures speak for themselves! Thank you Johnson family… it was a pleasure.

Beach season is back in full swing! Although the weather has been having some serious mood-swings, I’ve had some great beach sessions lately.
The Carter family was staying in Miramar Beach for the week and the little M’s first birthday! I picked a few favs to show you all. Thank you Carter family!

I am so behind on proofing! With Christmas quickly approaching, I have been so swamped with Christmas card orders that everything else has been seriously slow going.

Sweet little Olivia’s mommy has been waiting VERY patiently to see her peanut’s pictures.

First, I want to thank the Franklin family for coming out and looking beautiful! The smallest members of their family were a joy. The sunsets this time of year make for a spectacle of color…
