Rosemary Beach is one of my favorite wedding venues. Kelsey and Chad chose to have hold their ceremony on in the courtyard and reception inside the beautiful Town Hall. Aside from choosing a beautiful venue, they made the brilliant choice of bringing on the super Jen’s (also known and Jen and Jen or Jen 1 and Jen 2) from It’s a Shore Thing Wedding and Event Planning. The Jen’s pulled together a wonderful team consisting of Celestine’s for florals and catering as well as Confections on the Coast, who made the perfect cake for their peacock accented day, and Meet the Press who performed all evening for Kelsey and Chad’s friends and family.

Wish you both the best in marriage, family, and your upcoming careers.
(Kelsey and Chad started medical school two days after the wedding!)

    Beautiful! (01.27.2012 11:48pm)

Joanna and Brett were married in Seaside, FL at the charming Seaside Interfaith Chapel. Joanna’s hair and makeup were perfected by stylists at Rolland’s Beauty Bar in Seaside. Purple details were intertwined through their classy, formal, destination wedding affair. That evening, Bud and Alley’s hosted their outdoor reception, overlooking our famous white sand beaches. The weather, typical for an April wedding, was spectacular. Congratulations Dr. and Mrs. Person!

Hello faithful blog readers! The 2010 wedding season has ended and I’ve been working super hard, editing all of the beautiful weddings that I was honored to photograph this year.

Emma and Bryan were married at the Reunion House in the Fall. Their story is a bit unique and I wanted to tell you all about Emma and Bryan’s journey to their dream beach wedding. Emma contacted me last year and I was technically over my limit of the number of weddings I should really shoot in a month for Emma’s wedding date. But, I just couldn’t say no to this one! Emma and Bryan were to be married at a beautiful beach ceremony in the Dominican Republic. The day before the wedding, with all of their friends and family on the island, ready for their big day… Emma and Bryan were involved in a boat accident that resulted in some injuries that required surgery and a long recovery for Bryan. Bryan had to be transported back to the US for treatment, so their beach wedding ceremony never took place. Emma’s father told me that Emma considered doing the ceremony in the hospital but that he told her that her wedding should be everything she dreamed of and that they would make sure that it was. So fast forward a few months and this sweet couple completely reconfigured their plans for a stateside beach wedding here in beautiful Seacrest Beach.

Their wedding was emotional, fulfilling, and joyous. Their friends and family were an amazing bunch and Emma’s dream of a wedding ceremony with her toes in the sand came true. Jessica from Serene Occasions handled the details and made sure that Emma’s day was completely stress free. Before Emma’s wedding, I had not had the pleasure of working with Pascalli Foods, who catered the wedding. Well, lets just say that the day after seeing them prepare and enjoying their absolutely fantastic food, I called every wedding planner I know and told them they MUST check out Pascalli’s if they haven’t already heard of them. They served an Italian style feast and even the smell emanating from the kitchen was enough to make me drool. Following the wonderful dinner, Chuck Lawson kept the party going and the couple’s guests obviously had a wonderful time.

Emma and Bryan: Congratulations to both of you and best wishes for a long, fun, and injury-free marriage :)

Everyone has been complaining that I don’t blog enough! Yes, yes, I know! With so many weddings this summer, it’s just impossible to keep up. I’m hoping to put together I nice year end post with tid-bits from every wedding. If you haven’t already, you may want to “like” my facebook page because I much more regularly post sneak peeks and mini-collections of images on there.

I finished editing Anna and Chad’s wedding this afternoon, so I had a bit of time left to put something together for the good ol’ blog. Anna and Chad had such a great time at their “Lawn on the Beach” wedding… they really enjoyed themselves and the time they spent with their guests and it really shows. Stephanie Tate of Savoir Faire Weddings helped Anna arrange the day (priceless!) and I have to say their ceremony set-up on the beach, done by Erin of Enlighten Events along with the rest of the event design, was the most unique I’ve seen all year. Anna had her heart set on an open air reception, but rain made it necessary to bring in a tent and the awesome clear tent that was set up balanced her vision and the necessity perfectly. Be sure to slow down and check out all the great details that Anna chose, like the guest favor jars of Tupelo Honey (their first dance was to Tupelo Honey by Van Morrison), custom wedding logo, cake topper, and photo display. The logo was even represented it the pattern of Chad’s tie! So cool.

Congratulations Chad and Anna… The best is yet to come.
