I’m so excited about posting these photos for Laura and Josh! The sunset on the day of their engagement session was just amazing. Complete with a full moon… absolutely stunning. We took a quick trip through Eden State Gardens before heading over to the beach.
These two have known each other since they met, while in highschool, working at Abercrombie… fast forward about 6 years and here they are about to get married! Their wedding will be in May, here in Santa Rosa Beach at Bentley’s on the Bay. Laura and Josh… I hope you love these as much as I do!

Wow!! Business has been awesome this year. God is SO good. Things have been insanely crazy and busy. Blogging is really unfortunately the last thing on my priority list. That’s going to change next year though. Plans are to get some help and hire someone to take some of the load off my shoulders. Next year is already over halfway booked up for weddings. If you are considering contacting me to be your wedding photographer, do it now! There are only a few dates left. Also, I expect prices to rise quite a bit very soon.
2010 will be here in just a little over 30 days. I’m looking forward to the upcoming season and can’t wait to get some time on my hands so that I can blog some of the amazing sessions and weddings from 2009.
Speaking of 2010… Devon and Sean will be celebrating their wedding day in March of 2010. Like a lot of destination wedding couples, they managed to come out for a quick planning trip and we squeezed in an engagement session amongst all the other appointments and fun planning adventures they had arranged. I just love these two. They have a love for theater and of course each other. Devon is full of energy and oh so stylish. Sean is the strong, silent, and incredibly sweet kind of guy. They will be hosting their event at a beach home in Miramar Beach. For their engagement session, we made a stop at a local playground for a few minutes and caught some moments while they hung out on the swings, then we made our way over to the beach, but not before stopping in front of one of the great coastal dune lakes here in Walton County. Here are a few images that Devon and Sean selected as their favorites… hope you enjoy them! If you do, leave me some comment love <3

Congratulations to Tiffany and Alan! Their wedding day was beautiful and wonderfully handled by Robyn of Mix Mingle Glow at Bayside in Sandestin. Tiffany’s gown was designed by Maggie Sottero and the super cute (totally rewearable!) bridesmaids dresses came from J Crew. Florals by the Sea put together the fresh arrangements with orchids, roses, and hydrangea. I really loved the gorgeous ceremony arrangements and rose petal aisle which the florist very cleverly made sure would not blow away in the slightly windy weather. We took a short ride over to the beach for some photos of the whole crew and Tiffany and Alan together. They shared their first dance to Only You Can Love Me This Way by Keith Urban and kept the party going with help from BBoy Productions. And now to see the TON of pics I’ve chosen to show from this day… Thanks Tiffany and Alan, I’m so happy for you both!

I had a blast shooting a Day After session for Allie and Chase. Day After and/or Trash the Dress sessions are something I encourage all my couples to consider. We have plenty of time to get all the fun shots we didn’t have time for on the tight wedding day schedule. Day after sessions can be done literally the day after or years after for that matter! If you’re a couple who perhaps did not get the wedding day photos you dreamed of, this is a great way to have a do-over on the photos. I think day after sessions are great for first anniversaries too.
Here are just a few from Allie and Chase’s day after session. Allie also chose to take a dip in the Gulf in her dress!

Ah! Finally. I’ve come back to post Brittany and Kevin’s wedding photos! Brittany and Kevin traveled from Texas for their destination wedding at the Santa Rosa Beach Club. Brittany was a beautiful bride in her gorgeous beaded, sweetheart neckline gown. Their wedding party was so sweet and lovely to work with and included Brittany’s youngest sister who was just darling in her custom matching bridesmaid’s gown. The girls got their dresses from JCrew and they were able to order extra matching fabric to have her sisters dress made! After a terrace ceremony, everyone went down to the beach to make a wish and toss their shell into the Gulf while the great staff at the Santa Rosa Beach Club quickly rearranged the terrace for their outdoor reception. Brittany and Kevin’s cornelli-lace cake and Boston Red Sox grooms cake came from Fatty Patty’s. Thank you Kevin and Brittany for letting me be a part of your day!
